Overall, I was disappointed with my purchase from Knobs-N-Pulls. I ordered the Amerock brand BP53018-G10 knobs on a weekend, and expected them to be shipped promptly. When a few business days went by with no email regarding shipment, I called Knobs-N-Pulls, and a recording said they were closed and would begin shipping on Wednesday, I think. Also, 7 of the 31 knobs had to be backordered. I think I should have been informed of both these situations before my order was processed, so I could have decided whether to proceed. I received 24 of the knobs in time to meet my deadline. Thankfully, I was able to find the same knobs in a local store (at a higher price) and purchased the additional ones I needed in order to meet my deadline. The quality of the knobs was poor. I would estimate 75 percent of them had some scratch or imperfection in the finish . . . some minor, some bad, i.e., feel rough to your hand when you open a door or drawer. (The knobs I purchased locally had no flaws.) I can only assume that the knobs from Knobs-N-Pulls were some kind of “seconds”. This may explain why the knobs were priced so low compared to other stores. (I purchased 22 Amerock brand knobs of a different style from USKnobs a few months ago, and only one knob had a flaw in the finish.) |
